Organic pigments (Pigment red 57:1) are widely used in inks, paints, coatings, raw pulp coloring of synthetic fibers, pigment printing of fabrics, coloring of plastics, rubber, and leather, etc.
Among them, the ink application is the largest.
Packing: In 25kg bags craft paper bag, 400kgs/pallets.
Quantity: Around 10mts/20'fcl without pallet or 8mts/20'fcl with pallet.
1. What is the difference between Pigment red and Dye red?
The fundamental difference between pigment red and dyes red is that dyes can be dissolved in the dyeing medium used, while organic pigment red is neither soluble in the medium in which they are used nor in the substrate to be colored.
The output of organic pigment red accounts for about a quarter of the total output of dyes.
2. What is the Characteristics of Organic pigment red?
1:Blue light red, monoazo lake
2:high gloss, easy to disperse,
3:high tinting strength
4:Good anti-flocculation,
5:Light fastness level 4-5:
6:Mainly used for water-based ink, solvent ink, offset ink, plastic, etc.
7:High water resistance and tinting strength
3. How about the resistant to solvents of Pigment red 57:1
In ink, Pigment Red 57:1 is resistant to common organic solvents, but not resistant to saponification, acid or alkali, and is sensitive to varnish coatings.
If you want to prepare inks that are resistant to these media, Pigment Red 184, which is similar in color, is often used.
