Organic pigments (Pigment red) are widely used in inks, paints, coatings, raw pulp coloring of synthetic fibers, pigment printing of fabrics, coloring of plastics, rubber, and leather, etc.
Among them, the ink application is the largest.
1. What is the difference between Pigment red and Dye red?
The fundamental difference between pigment red and dyes red is that dyes can be dissolved in the dyeing medium used, while organic pigment red is neither soluble in the medium in which they are used nor in the substrate to be colored.
The output of organic pigment red accounts for about a quarter of the total output of dyes.
2. What is the Characteristics of Organic pigment red?
Pigment Red is bright in color, strong in tinting strength, non-toxic, endless variety and colorful. There is a certain internal relationship between various colors, each color can be determined by 3 parameters, namely hue, lightness and saturation .
